Francophone legal advice lines
French-speaking clients can now get free, confidential advice and referrals by telephone for many of the legal issues covered by community legal clinics.
Four advice lines are available in:
- Eastern Ontario
- Northern Ontario, and parts of central Ontario including:
- Barrie
- Parry Sound
- Muskoka and Kawartha Lakes regions
- Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
- Southwestern Ontario
French-speaking callers in these areas will be given legal advice over the phone. Some callers will be referred to a local community legal clinic, if it provides the required services in French.
Advice is not offered for family law, criminal law, or other legal issues not listed below, but information will be given about other available services.
